Definitions
Electronic Voice Phenomenon or Etheric Voice Phenomenon (EVP) means recording of spirit voices through cassette recorders and digital recorders, people have also received messages via phone and or answering machines. Sarah Estep, founder of the AA-EVP, who has since transitioned, has developed a classification system for these recordings.

Class B: This recording requires the use of headphones, also people tend to hear different messages. |

Class C: This recording requires amplification, the use of headphones are required yet still seldom heard by others. |
Class C: Mommy wants us here |
NOTE: "Class B - C" EVPs are the most common. It is rare to record a message that does not require headphones to understand, and that everyone can agree upon. |
