As you can imagine our team was very excited for the opportunity to investigate at this beautiful hotel.The Shanley Hotel was first built in 1845, then burned down on March 18, 1895 , and was rebuilt Sept. 1895 on the same foundation. It had over 20 owners in the years leading up to 2008. Many famous people have come & stayed there. President Franklin D.Roosevelt and his wife, Thomas Edison to name a few.Upon entering the hotel you can feel the energy within. Most of the investigators commented on feeling like the hotel was crowded that night, though we were the only paranormal team there. Our team consisted of (6) members so there is no way that this feeling of being "over crowded" should have been in effect considering the size of the hotel.The hotel is beautifully decorated thanks to the wonderful talent of Cindy Nicosia Owner/Proprietor of the Shanley Hotel.

This evp was the first one of the night for me, I had gone upstairs to "Joe's room" which some believe to be the place where you'll find the spirit of a man who would just rather be left alone. I wouldn't say he is a negative spirit but if someone in life was a recluse and preferred to be alone it only makes sense that this would carry on into the after life.
You will hear me say "Ok Joe it's me again..... Christine"  but before I have a chance to say my name you'll hear a voice say "DIE"

In this next clip myself and three other investigators were back in Joe's room on the third floor attempting some more evp work. A couple of the team physically felt themselves being pushed out of the room so they went into the hallway while myself and another investigator Buffy (Cindy's daughter) recorded. You will hear Buffy asked if anyone will speak to us, immediately after you hear a voice say "NO I'll have no contact... GO"

Again on the third floor in a room to the left once you come up the stair three of us ladies were in there looking around and talking about the room and what we were personally feeling at the time. You will hear a male voice cut in on our conversation. It sounds like he says "Achieve".

This clip was very interesting because I had a personal experience and didn't realize I had captured an evp to go along with it until later on playback. I was upstairs on the third floor setting things up for the night's investigation. You will hear the motion detector going off and then a strange voice say "Who are you?" immediately after you'll hear me say "Hun don't be like that" the reason for this is because upon entering Joe's room I felt a push on my chest like someone was trying to keep me out. It was awesome to capture this evp at that exact time to correlate with my experience.

This photo was taken by Patty Pepin in the Great Room, there seem to be an orb near the right hand side of the photo near the floor. A lot of people believe orbs to be the refraction of dust partials and the flash of the camera. This may be true with some but who is to say this is true with all glowing balls in our photos so I thought it was important to post.

This next photo was taken by Leslie in the Great Room of what appears to be a very large orb.

This last photo was also taken by Leslie, there is nothing paranormal in it that I can see I just wanted everyone to have a chance to see the famous third floor and if you look at the room to the right that is "Joe's room".

This video was done during our table tipping experiment. You will see the light anomaly move down Patty's leg (watch close it's quick). At first I thought this could be a flash light but if you watch closely as the anomaly makes it's way down her leg it disappears behind the other investigator, if this was in fact a flash light I would think we would see it on their leg as well.
